The work begins on the basement kitchen and dining area of a 3 storie Georgian terraced house in Camden town North West London. First removing the existing kitchen and the wall coatings back to substrate.

The plaster coatings are removed to different heights depending upon the treatment necessary.

This wall is will be ready for injection and re-plastering once the remaining render at the bottom is removed.

The walls have been bush hammered and the mortar joints prepared for re-plastering. Wiring has been run through plastic conduit for protection. Salts have been neutralized and the damp proof course has been injected.

Damp brickwork can clearly be seen in the fireplace area and around the base of all the walls.

Specialist plaster coatings containing Tri-mix 1 are applied to walls.

Once all specialist plaster coatings are competely dry, a multi-finish plaster skim coat is applied to the walls ready for tiling and decoration. Fitting the kitchen requires close consultation with Guardian Damp Proofing to ensure all fixing pockets drilled into the walls are correctly sealed with Tri-fix resins to ensure continuation of the damp proofing system.
